In April 2020, A.A. was at his home in the area of 200 W. Westmoreland St. with his wife and children when they heard multiple gunshots going from outside. In April, 2019 a “shootout” occurred on the 4700 block of Benner Street. Tragically, one of the bullets struck an innocent bystander- a mechanic who was working on a car at the time the shots began flying. Police arrested D.W. for homicide relating to a shooting death near 13th and Olney Ave after two relatives of the decedent identified D.W. In November of 2019, a car drove by a bar on Wyoming Avenue and an individual leaned out of the front window, firing multiple shots that struck three individuals. Officers responding to a shooting located a victim on W. Seymour Street. He was pronounced dead a short time later. Detectives investigating the murder discovered that a landlord to a nearby property had arrived with D.B. and confronted the victim about some broken windows at the property he was residing in. Commonwealth v. E.I.

E.I. was seen on surveillance tape inside of a corner store arguing with store employees. Employees alleged ongoing problems with E.I. After being removed from the store, approximately one hour later a person returned to the store and opened fire striking the building over ten times. Several bullets pierced the front glass door.
