Commonwealth v. P.T.

The complainant, ex-wife of P.T., called 911 to report that P.T. had attempted to rape her. Defense investigation revealed a plethora of text messages before and after the alleged incident tending to show that the complainant was jealous and bitter over the fact that P.T. had moved on with his life and was involved with a new woman. At trial, the complainant was confronted with those text messages as well as numerous inconsistencies to 911, responding police officers as well as in later statements to detectives. P.T. was found not guilty of all charges.
