Commonwealth v. J.N.

Commonwealth v. J.N.

J.N. was arrested for aggravated assault (F1) and related charges after it was alleged that she tried to stab the complainant with a butcher knife. The complainant claimed that J.N. was upset because she thought the complainant had slept with J.N.’s boyfriend, and that J.N. attempted to stab her numerous times. The defense presented evidence that the complainant was in fact a jilted lover, and argued that she had fabricated the entire version of events to exact revenge on J.N. and her boyfriend.
