Commonwealth v. E.I.
E.I. was seen on surveillance tape inside of a corner store arguing with store employees. Employees alleged ongoing problems with E.I. After being removed from the store, approximately one hour later a person returned to the store and opened fire striking the building over ten times. Several bullets pierced the front glass door. Surveillance footage from outside the store depicted someone the police believed to have depicted E.I. After cross-examination of the detectives and store employees and arguing that the outside surveillance footage did not accurately depict E.I., a Judge agreed and dismissed all charges at the preliminary hearing.
