Alex is an experienced trial lawyer dedicated to fighting for personal justice for each of his clients. He holds law enforcement and prosecutors accountable to the courts and to the law by rigorously uncovering evidence and advocating for the rights of his clients from initial investigation to the moment of arrest and then through jury trial.
He has vigorously defended clients and succeeded. Among other things, Alex has obtained not guilty jury verdicts and bench verdicts on behalf of his clients, obtained court orders suppressing law enforcement’s unlawfully seized evidence, and obtained favorable plea agreements from prosecutors based on his powerful advocacy and reputation for integrity in the legal community.
Alex’s practice is personal. He is firmly dedicated to the proposition that all persons, especially his own clients, deserve a zealous advocate for fair treatment and due process in the criminal system. In some cases, when courts refuse to grant bail to his clients, Alex takes time to meet, in person, with his clients held in pretrial detention. He works together with his clients to build and present a strong, client-centered and client-informed defense.
Before joining Link Law, Alex tried cases and defended thousands of clients in Philadelphia and Montgomery County as a Philadelphia Public Defender and as a Montgomery County Public Defender. He also has worked as a champion for civil rights as a legal fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania.
Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, Alex earned his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law, graduating with honors.
